Watches
There are thousands of watch brands of every description, valued from tens of thousands of dollars to less than the cost of a take away meal, which coupled with the Internet and increased travel, make the variety of models seen in Australia increase every year. Most watch companies change their design range on a regular basis, making it difficult to replace a watch with and identical one. However, when validating a watch we look at a comparable watch in the current range of the same brand where possible, or of a similar quality brand.
Watches do not always increase in value, as new technology becomes mainstream the prices will reduce. However, there are many ‘collectable’ models that may well be an exception to this rule, and again, experience and knowledge are required to recognise these pieces.
